answer coming soon

Yes, Anthropology 4U provides a limited amount of financial assistance. If you have special circumstances and are unable to pay the course fee, you can apply for a fee waiver. Please contact Keirsten through the contact form and request a financial assistance application.

No, at this time I do not offer payment plans.

As a professional Anthropologist, I hold myself to a very high standard. I put a lot of hard work and effort into creating these online courses. However, if a course does not meet your expectations, you are eligible for a refund if, within 30 days of your purchase:

  • you have NOT accessed the course, OR
  • you only accessed less than 25% of the course content
In order to apply for a refund, please contact me as soon as possible.

If it has been more than 30 days since your purchase, you are not eligible for a refund. If you have accessed more than 25% of the course content, you are not eligible for a refund. If you are in one of these two situations, contact me immediately and I will be happy to offer you another course (at no additional cost to you).

Course Questions

Each class has a slightly different format. Check the course descriptions for detailed information on the format of each course.

All courses consist mainly of video lessons. Most videos are narrated powerpoint slideshows, and some videos are talking head videos as well.

Some courses have links to supplemental resources for each video lesson (such as web articles and YouTube videos).

Some courses have short activities after each lecture, while other courses have short activities at the end of each unit. Each of these activities will take about 15-30 minutes to complete.

At the end of most units, there is a short quiz of about 5 questions.

All full-length courses have a final assignment, called the “Be Like an Anthropologist” activity. This is where you have the opportunity to go out “in the field” and do something that an Anthropologist would do! These activities will take you about an hour to complete, maybe more.
